ONB Bank came to forbinfi looking for guidance during a renaming and rebranding process. From comprehensive market analysis to the creation of a compelling visual identity, every step was meticulously designed to resonate with the bank's diverse clientele while attracting a new generation of customers. Witness the power of collaboration, the art of storytelling and the profound impact a well-executed rebranding can have on an institution's perception and success.
Phase 1: Discovery and Workshop
ONB had already selected their new name, so it was time for discovery and a workshop. forbinfi explored where ONB currently sat amongst competitors and how they were perceived by customers. After assessing the landscape with input from ONB and customers, we were ready for a workshop!
During this workshop, forbinfi visited ONB in person to work with key stakeholders in order to better understand their expectations and outlook for the new brand. We reviewed materials and messaging ideas through different exercises so the forbinfi team could develop the logo, color scheme and branding guidelines from there!
Phase 2: Brand Creative and Messaging
forbinfi was then able to create options for the new logo, color scheme, messaging and more! These were presented to ONB for their feedback. Once we received the feedback from ONB, we went back to make our revisions to offer a final product. A final logo, color scheme and branding guidelines were selected by the key stakeholders at ONB.
Phase 3: Rollout Strategy
forbinfi then began to work on the strategy for a new brand rollout with a communication plan for employees, customers & key stakeholders and the external market. This helped provide a consistent communication plan of the ‘why’ for the new brand.
Phase 4: Brand Implementation
The final phase was planning the graphic transition across all channels (in-branch, signage, operations, online, digital/mobile, and so on). A strategic introductory marketing campaign was developed to execute this brand implementation. During this time, a new website is being developed to fit in with this process and we can’t wait to showcase that to you!
